an Ryan's Chicago Grill brand and restaurant design was created in Hong Kong in 1989 and currently there are three Dan Ryan's restaurants in operation in Hong Kong, one in Taiwan and one in Singarpore. Dan Ryan's Chicago Grill offers authentic American steaks, ribs, sandwiches and salad in a friendly, lively and upscale atmosphere. The philosophy behind is to serve consistently genuine, uncompromised American food to a standard exactly as one might expect in big-city restaurants across the United States and at a price that customers regard as high value. Taking their inspiration from a 1940's Chicago bar and grill, the restaurants feature period music, old newspapers and posters, an antique train circling above the bar, neon signs, and an artist's mural depicting vintage Chicago night life. Whether in a business suit or in causal attire, everyone feels comfortable in the relaxed setting. The founder, Mr. Christenson, put great emphasis on the food. His primary concern was to make it authentic. At that time, he imported U.S. food products that Dan Ryan's used exclusively. Although the Company finds it is no longer necessary to import exclusively from the United States, great care is taken to ensure that the high quality standards of the ingredients are still met. The value proposition remains as customers notice the difference between Dan's "made from scratch" menu items and the competitors pre-processed food.

BEST BURGER Dan Ryan's Chicago Grill

It's star and stripes forever at Dan Ryan's. The cavernous bar and grill is filled with neon beer signs, dark wood booths and a huge American flag. The basic hamburger stands a proud half-a-foot high, and comes with coleslaw, a pickle, truly excellent fries and a toasted bun speared with a tiny American flag, just in case you were doubting the restaurant's patriotic sympathies. The cheeseburger comes with a choice of blue, cheddar or Swiss cheeses. For an extra HK$10, you can add bacon, sauteed mushrooms or if the half pound patty isn't enough cow for you - a smear of thick beef chili.
